Client Requirement:

Ibile Oil & Gas required a Preliminary Environmental Risk Assessment (PERA) and Project Concept Screening (PCS) to evaluate potential environmental risks at the early stage of their proposed project and to determine regulatory expectations before full project development. Also, they required Environmental Impact Assessment for their proposed CNG daughter stations.

Our team carried out a structured PERA to identify and analyze potential environmental sensitivities associated with the proposed activities. This included baseline reviews, risk identification, and evaluation of possible impacts in line with applicable environmental regulations and industry best practices.

For the Project Concept Screening, we assessed the project scope against regulatory thresholds to determine the level of environmental study required and provided clear guidance on approval pathways. We developed concise technical documentation, outlined compliance obligations, and advised on mitigation considerations to ensure the project could proceed responsibly and efficiently.

For the Environmental Impact Assessment, we carried out the activity based on the scope of work in the presence of the regulatory body to identify various areas where the proposed project could pose a threat to its surrounding environments. Also, samples were collected and tested to ensure regulatory compliance.
